Review content:
Read this, seriously. I bought a used 2002 Volkswagen Passat for about 5000, with roughly 90,000 miles. It seemed like a great price; black leather, moon roof, heated seats, all the works. I drove out from O?fallon, MO and the place looked small and sketchy. Roger, the owner, was nice and not too pushy. He showed me the car. It was owned by smoker, you could tell from the smell and burn holes. Other than that, it looked sharp. The door shut funny, and he INSISTED that it was JUST the car (Later to find out that it wasn?t, and I had to drive BACK to fix it. HOUR DRIVE). Then, there the back window didn?t work, so he told me to come back up to fix it. Another hour drive. When I was purchasing the car, he TRICKED ME INTO BUYING A 500 DOLLAR WARRANTY. He said it would protect the engine for 5 years. Well, well?just wait?that comes back to bite me.
