I can't say enough great things about Shred . He is an outstanding tattooer and extremely well rounded artist!! For about a year I had been searching the chicagoland area for someone to design a tattoo that I had been wanting. A big eyed characture of my dog and I . Simple enough right?? Wrong! Trying to find an artist in Chicago that actually drew anything other than traditional art was frustrating. When I came across the few, and I mean few artists in Chicago that claimed to be custom artists I was disappointed when viewing there portfolios. Until one day, while waiting for a friend to arrive at midway airport. Lucky for me her plane was delayed for 3 hours. Bored and hungry I decided to venture off and go get some food . While driving aimlessly down a side street in search of food I noticed a tattoo studio with a beautifully painted sign. What drew me to the sign was that it was so bold and colorful . I couldn't stop thinking about that fabulous black cat smoking a cigarette while eating. I decided I was gonna stop in there on my way back to the airport. Best decision of my life! I was pleasantly greeted by the owner Shred. I flipped through his portfolio and was just in aww of his work. Not only does he do the most amazing work that I have ever seen he does a huge variety of different styles of art. That's impressive! Shred is really an extremely easy person to talk to with no attitude. Very professional and you can tell when speaking to him he takes pride in his work and really cares about what he tattoos on people . Shred did my tattoo a few weeks later and Its more wonderful than I could have ever imagined it to be. Go check him out you wont be disappointed!!
