Review content:
Tranquility and good food. We had 8PM reservations and the place was packed. The host was super, chattering with us until our table had been bussed and prepared. We had a good bottle of wine that was decently priced and our apps were great. (The seared Tuna and the Fried Calamari). We both had the special of the day, pecan crusted rainbow trout and the sweet potatoe fries that came with it were to die for! For dessert...ahh. Sweet bliss. We had their 8 layer trifle, a wonderful layered dream of heath bar cake, chocolate mousse and whipped cream. They informed us that they are so popular they have them specially prepared in 'to go' cups. Almost all the entrees were $10 unless otherwise noted. (our trout was the best 14.50 i've spent in ages). I highly recommend Laurel for a piece of mind that won't kill your wallet!
