Avoid this place at all costs. I live in San Diego and my entire family lives in Maine so I have to order all my flowers online and have them delivered to them. When my younger sister became sick with cancer I ordered a get well flower for her online. Not only did they deliver to her neighbor?s house instead of her place, they sent some fern plant with no flowers. Okay, perhaps a simple mistake right? well after calling them to request an exchange I was informed by the owner that they hold the right to substitute with something else if they don?t have what you paid for in stock. I was also told that if I had read the fine print on their website I would have known that they had a disclaimer that states that they don?t have to call you to inform of a change. Had I been informed of the substitute, I would have obviously opted for something with a pretty flower and not a green plant, after all, who orders a green plant from a florist. No exchange or refund was granted and now after 10 years of using Minott?s, I will never use them again. A little customer service goes a long way, this place has horrible service. I will be getting married this summer in Maine and will ensure that our flowers are also purchased somewhere else.
