Review content:
My daughter attended a birthday party at the tea room today and I was stunned at how rude the staff treated both the eight year old girls and their parents. My daughter told me that the people were ?mean? and told them to be quiet various times as to not disturb the other patrons. Perhaps the tea room should not hold parties for eight year olds if they don?t expect a bit of noise. Or perhaps another room should be set up specifically for parties if you intend on young girls enjoying themselves.
Upon picking up our girls, parents had a few minutes to pick up their girls and their gift items and then we were asked (not very nicely) to leave the premises as other guests had paid to enjoy their tea.
I had planned on shopping there, but I was so stunned at our treatment, I immediately left . I will be sure to pass on to all the young families I know to avoid having a party or attending the tea room with their younger children. Clearly this business is NOT child friendly, no matter what they would like you to believe.
Pros: Cute hats
Cons: See below
