I recently went to Troquet for my birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. My boyfriend and I had a romantic and intimate spot by the window, and the service was excellent. I loved the concept of pairing tastings of wines with each dish. We got 2 appetizers, each with an appropriate glass of wine, then ordered probably the best Pinot Noir I've ever had to go with dinner (thanks to the wonderful reccomendation by the owner and our server). I ordered the duck special which was perfect! Crispy on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. Plus, the pieces of foie gras garnishing the dish was a nice touch and a pleasant surprise. Although it's not the most inexpensive restaurant, the prices were more than fair for the quality, quantity, and service we received. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to go back!
