What great family fun it is to have an RV. Many memorable moments.....until you have work done on your RV by S&S Apache. Had a great RV, took it in to have routine maintainence done, and now the RV sits in our yard with a blown up engine. Not to mention this is the second engine that has blown up due to faulty parts and workmanship. We are currently pursueing this legally against S & S Apache along with their suppliers. From having a simple exhaust gasket replaced, they stripped the bolts off in the head and therefore made us purchase a new head. Repairs were made and supposively everything was good. NOT.....the engine blew up.....towed it back to S&S Apache, and they found that the new head was faulty. Ordered new heads and a supposed new bottom engine. After weeks waiting, the RV was finally ready....We done the 500 mile break in not exceeding 50 mph, took it back for the oil change, and they said everything was great.....NOT....that engine blew up with only 1300 miles on it.....same thing as the first time...but now they want no part of it. S & S Apache is refusing to take care of the problem. Not only that but through our own leg work, the engine they ordered and put in our motorhome is not one made for a Class A RV....I would strongly suggest, if you are thinking of purchasing or repairing your RV please find someone else to do the work. The line of Gray Daniels dealerships are a great and reliable place to work on your RV's.....
