Review content:
Deffinatly the ""Pearl of The Pearl"", a must attend for anyone in portland, if you need anything from a romantic date to a simple cup of coffee. I was wondering arround the pearl district one night and stubled upon this quaint yet refined establishment, i decided to treat myself to a double espresso, a piece of White Chocolate Carrot cake, and some of their vegan truffles for the road, and if you can't tell already... i was blown away. The espresso, micro-roasted in town, as the strapping young barista told me, was like a beacon of hope and promice, that the coffee industry is shaping up, or at least that this cafe is. the carrot cake was better than words can describe, and the truffles for the road put a spring in my step as i snaked on them walking back to the street car, who would have thought a dairy free truffle that actually tastes good, nothing shorter than genius. Anyway, to all in Portland, GO TO SWEET MASTERPIECE, good coffee, good sweets, good art on the walls, friendly and fun staff, and i even saw a sign saying that they have sandwitches for lunch! SWEET!
Pros: Everything
Cons: I didn't spend enought time there
