Review content:
I often stop here for take out because my office-mates rave about their dumpling noodle soup (not bad if you like dumplings); I prefer the hot and sour. Recently, I wanted to bring some Chinese home for dinner, so tried a couple items off the menu. The waiter was not helpful when I inquired about ingredients, rushing me to choose. I ended up with chicken and shrimp with cashews, which turned out to be about half celery and water chestnuts (quite crunchy). Celery doesnt have much flavor. Neither do water chestnuts. And cashews? Still couldnt tell you. I also came home with the mixed vegetables. Just fine. They served to counter-balance the crunchy issue of the previous dish.
Pros: soups, inexpensive
Cons: unhelpful service, indifferent, bland
