I have to say this is the worst dental practice I have ever used or seen, if I could I would give them zero stars. Let me start by saying my first appointment was terrible and I was ready to never go back however they were covered by my insurance. After meeting Dr. Maroon and discovering I was correct and did not need a deep cleaning like the hygienist said I decide to go ahead and let them do a regular cleaning and fix my fillings. Dr. Maroon was very friendly. My first hint that they were money hungry was insisting that I needed a deep cleaning before they could do anything. They lady could not show me a single part of my gums that were inflamed that would require a deep cleaning. But again insurance covered them and the actual dentist was nice. So I schedule another appointment and go in expecting to spend all day getting my mouth completely fixed. Wrong. They say they?re only doing the cleaning and fixing half of the cavities in my front teeth, these are my front teeth people I need them all fixed. Anyways I agree and I pay the $60 for the cleaning, office visit and fillings which is exactly what it should have been with my insurance. The original lady at the front was wonderful, loved her but I don?t remember her name. After my treatment was completed is when it all went downhill. The most awful, rude woman named Nancy tried telling me I was mischarged. I thought ?oh okay they must of overcharged me? WRONG! They tried saying I owed another 600+! I of course said that was NOT correct, I had already prepaid for my appointment and she was wrong. I then asked her to check the fee schedule and to give me a copy. I had given them the copy earlier in the morning. She said I had to get it from the insurance! I informed her that I gave it to them; She finally just gave it to me and did not even make a copy for them. She said she would ?waive? the 600 but that I should know she won?t be getting paid. Umm hello I have insurance so they will definitely get paid. Anyways, the first lady had told me the remainder of my treatment would be $205 which was again exactly with what my insurance said. Nancy says that is not even close to correct and tells me a price nearly 5 times that amount. I again asked her to look at the fee schedule and showed her where she was wrong. She insisted she was not wrong and that she gets NOTHING from my insurance... Anyways, I tell her I will be calling my insurance as soon as I leave to verify the charges and she says she will do the same and that she is calling right then, she even fakes picking up the phone and dialing a number! I call my insurance and they tell me that I am correct and there is NO reason to be charged anything more. I call Nancy assuming she called too and sees I am correct and she hasn?t even tried calling yet. She says she will call them so after I call her 4 times that day she says they are giving her the runaround, funny since I got ahold of them instantly.
