Review content:
I and my companion were very enthusiastic about finding a nice steakhouse that had a full bar in the little town of Barnwell. On our first visit we enjoyed the quality and serving size of the food but were put off by the low-quality coffee and the fact that the waitress wouldn't let us pay our bill tableside. I wrote a letter to Vince with the suggestion that he serve a superior grade of coffee to go with his excellent desserts and that his servers process the bill at the table. He made those changes on our second visit, and we enjoyed both the excellent prime rib and his conversation. Our third and fourth visits were very satisfying, and we got to know two servers, Jennifer and Tanya, quite well. We also learned that we could order wine by the bottle. We believed that this was our community restaurant, and we made every indication that we wanted to be regulars of Vince's establishment. We were in for a nasty surprise. On our fifth and final visit, we ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, fried shrimp appetizer, two dinner salads, prime rib and dessert. We expressly told Tanya that we wanted real horseradish when she brought our main course. Sadly, she failed to bring the requested horseradish, so I informed Jennifer, who had had a nice chat with us earlier that same night. As we began consuming our main course, Vince emerged from the kitchen and made straight for our table. He demanded to know, ""Do you have a problem with my waitresses? You know, they have other customers to wait on beside you."" I reassured him that I did not have a problem. My companion and I sat stunned as we watched him march back to the kitchen. Tanya returned and told us we could only have one bottle of wine, that Vince didn't like our using the unisex bathroom at the same time and that nobody wanted to wait on us. We boxed our food and left. Vince's will reopen at a new location. Watch out! If you want to relax and enjoy yourself, then go elsewhere. Really!
