Review content:
Owner Gary B. of Meadow Creek Tire (2 locations in Colorado - Frisco & Vail) will not stand behind a promise made by his employee Mark S. to me. I purchased Road Hazard insurance, had a blowout and submitted a claim. This was after they had already replaced all 4 tires due to a manufacturing defect. (evidenced by another blowout at highway speeds) The original road hazard warranty was transferred to the new set of tires as indicated to me by Mark, the employee. Mark neglected to note this on my receipt. Gary B. is using this paperwork omission technicality to not replace the tire. As a gesture of goodwill the tire manufacturer, Nokian replaced the tire for me. All I ask is reimbursement from Meadow Creek Tire for the small charge I incurred ($61) from Nokian for the tire and shipping. Gary B. of Meadow Creek Tire will tell you my road hazard warranty had expired and that's that. Don't believe it. Because the warranty was transferred to the new set of tires by his employee. Also he will tell you he turned the issue over to the manufacturer's representative for Nokian. I have yet to hear from that individual. So I contacted Nokian myself and resolved the issue. The small matter of my $61 out of pocket remains outstanding and is the responsibility of Meadow Creek Tire. I spent almost $700 for the tires and the road hazard insurance. There are plenty of options for tire and automotive service in Frisco/Vail Colorado other than Meadow Creek Tire.
