This Chili's should seriously be examined for quality by their corporate offices. We're visiting from Austin and it was around 9:30pm so this Chili's was just about the only thing open in our area beside fast food. I have never gone wrong with Chili's before, so I didn't think twice about going to this one. I will in the future, though! I'll start this off saying that our waiter was VERY nice, and his tip reflected that, but the cleanliness, food, + the drinks were a total let down! The hostess seated us in a booth that had crumbs all over the seats. She brushed them off one seat (quickly), but never addressed the other seat. There was also food stuck to the back of my menu and trash on the divider between our booth and another booth (which was empty) - a few empty sugar packets and a half-empty children's cup, specifically. We ordered margaritas, but they had too much ice in them. They were watered down to the point where I didn't even finish mine. My boyfriend's buffalo chicken sandwich was basically a way too large piece of hardened chicken on a way too small bun, finished off with a barely noticeable dab of buffalo sauce or whatever it was. He asked for a side of the sauce and it was brought quickly, but I still don't know how that food made it out of the kitchen in that state. I ordered the shrimp tacos, which my boyfriend said looked like ""bird food,"" because they were so small. 4 tiny corn tortillas with 1 or 2 popcorn-sized shrimp on them, a dab of sauce so small I didn't even notice there was any on them at all til I examined them closer, wondering why they tasted so bland. My tacos were served with a small bowl of onions (at least I think they were onions. They smelled like onions. Red onions, specifically, but they were ridiculously limp and rubbery and had changed to an almost fuchsia color throughout), rice, and beans - which I ate none of because they looked as if they had been sitting out all day long. I still have no idea why shrimp tacos (which already had onions on them) were served with a bowl of rubbery pinkish onions. Odd. Anyway, our waiter was nice...but we'll just settle for fast food next time we need to eat late in Midland. Pros: our waiter was very nice Cons: dirty, poor quality
