I couldn't believe it - 4 people in my group of 20 were admitted with hats and long white t-shirts. One loner from my group was refused entry until he tucked in his collared shirt.
The whole party closed our tabs and departed the place after the loner was harassed senselessly by the door staff until we all said enough! We went around the corner to a more inviting and mature environment where the owners bought us free shots all night and asked us to please come back (name withheld, but walk North down Damen a few doors - East side of street!!). That made out for a good night after all.
Don't waste your time at Wicker Park tavern unless you enjoy seeing patron after patron refused entry and/or ejected because the door staff ""does not like you"".
