Businiess name:  Barbara's at the Brewery
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Barbara's is located inside ""The Brewery"" - a gargantuan artist colony that used to be the Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery - thus the name. I imagine it stays in business simply based on the fact that residents like to get drunk and eat without having to drive anywhere. The wine list is impressive - housed in a binder, classified by type. You order food (upscale barfood) at the bar, along with your drinks and someone brings it out to you. This isn't a ""restaurant"" as much as a bar with o.k. food. The fish tacos are just that, no sides, but big enough for lunch. They have outdoor seating and there is plenty of eye-candy. Pros: Happy Hour, Wine List, Outdoor patio Cons: Parking can be tight, No "service", Can be loud
