First impressions were tainted with a 30 minute wait to get into the garage. Front desk staff seemed helpful enough but the concierge gave the wrong address to a very popular restaurant that cost an extra $10 in cab fare to correct. Service in the lobby bar was absent even though there were at least three staff talking with each other about what they had planned for the weekend. Room service screwed up a very basic request and we finally gave up and cancelled the order. On the good side, this hotel is well located and we experienced a very clean and comfortable room, even in the ""old"" part of the hotel. I am a frequent user of Westin properties, and will probably continue to use the brand, but this hotel is off the list because of the sevice standards.
