I just took my Mother to see the Cedar Springs Apartments as she is moving from another city to Louisville. The outside looks nice and so does the clubhouse. But the model they showed us was cheap and junky. Cheap cabinets, cheap flooring, closet racks falling down, and only one overhead light in the entire apartment. The apartment manager acted as though we were nothing but an interruption and was very rude to us. We inquired about changing the dining area overhead light (which was cheap) and replacing it with one my Mom has. Other apartment complexes said they would have their maintenance people do that for us. This manager said no because it was against the fire code. That was complete bull. Other complexes in the Fern Creek area did not tell us that. Then she said ""regardless of the fire code, its against our lease."" I told her that she lied to me. If it is not allowed in the lease, that's fine. But don't try to hide behind a fire code. Her attitude was mean and gruff. I told her to forget about it. I wouldn't put my Mother is such a dump!
