This is the place to go for special occasions. The food is phenominal the service impecable. I love the crab cakes and the caviar and toast points that are complementary. They have an extensive wine list and arguably the best steak in Dallas. I have been reading some reviews about how long it takes to order get food etc. This is a place for event dining. Meaning eating here is an event. It is not a fast food joint to zip in and zip out. You wil spend for appetizer, entree and dessert at least 2 hours. At most fine dining places this is normal. Also, as a tip, if eating as a couple, you can order half orders of the side dishes and they are plenty for two, plus less expensive. I have been there for several birthdays and have never been disappointed. This past birthday they brought out a special dessert with candle and chocolate that was painted with gold saying Happy Birthday and my name. It was a very nice touch. This restaurant aims to please and is not offended if your steak is too rare or too done. I love, love, love this place. It reminds me of a place where Dino and the others would go back in the day, full of dark wood, suits, piano player, very masculine and fabulous! Pros: Food, Ambience, Wine List Cons: Dark
