Dr. May was my doctor from October 1994 to May 1995. He was doing his residency at Erlanger Hospital (University of Tennessee College of Medicine - OB/GYN Residency) in Chattanooga. He was an excellent doctor. The doctor I was going to wasn't very nice to me. I lost my medical insurance, and he washed his hands of me. I was pregnant, had morning sickness 24/7, and was unable to work. I lost 22 lbs in the first 3 months. I started bleeding one day in my second month, and was afraid it might be a miscarriage. I went to the emergency room, and Dr. May was the doctor on call. He was great. He was funny, and made me feel at ease. He also put my husband at ease. His bedside manner was wonderful. I decided that he was the doctor for me. I started going then to the clinic where he did his residency. My husband thought of him as highly as I did, and we both still do. He delivered my older son,and it broke my heart when he said that he was going back to Northeast Tennessee at my 6-week follow-up. The people where he works now are truly blessed!
