Very friendly staff. I purchased a babyliss nano iron and the babyliss hair dryer that the stylists use. I was very excited and thought the price was well worth the amazing job that the blowdryer and iron did on my hair. I bought the iron for 220 dollars and the blowdryer for 99. I spent money I didn't have because I never do that for myself and the manager or owner was telling me what a great deal it was. I excitedly (with a sick feeling that I was spending so much) went home with my new products. When I got home (because I felt so sick of the money I just spent) I decided to look and see how much I could get the same items from amazon. I checked several sites and felt disgusted at the difference in price. I immediately took back the items and then bought the blow dryer from amazon for $30 and the iron for $79! YES, they were the exact same items. They are ripping people off purposefully. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves marking products up so drastically. I can understand a markup. They need to make money.. but marking up an iron they probably got at cost for $50 to $220 is shameful. I not only will NEVER go back there for any treatment or products, but also I make sure to tell everyone that I know and anyone that mentions they are going to go there about the deceitful and greedy business deals they make. Very disappointed that someone (management/ownership) could feel remotely OK with this kind of deceit/fraud. I have lived in Vancouver my entire life. I know a lot of people and I will make sure that I tell everyone about this. I will post it on my Facebook and myspace about my personal experience. I suggest anyone who has had a similar experience do the same.
