Review content:
I went to Creative Life Management?s hypnotherapist Michelle Miller seeking help in controlling severe anxiety that caused me to talk nervously and freeze up when writing, a problem for both my personal and professional life. After the first session I found that visualization practices helped me to stop and feel my anxiety as it was coming on so that I could avoid going into panic mode. By session two, regressions into moments where I felt defenseless as a child helped me to feel bolder and more assertive, if not more concrete in addressing others when I began to feel they were pushing my boundaries. After session three, I found that I was articulating my ideas in clearer, more concise ways and that I felt calmer in the midst of tense social or professional interactions. Why did I choose this over traditional counseling? For me, hypnotherapy proved to be a faster, more effective way of confronting very specific psychological concerns and obtaining the tools I needed to deal with them as soon as I walked out of the therapist?s office. Michelle Miller?s experience as a therapist, combined with her warmth and insight, make hypnosis and counseling sessions a fun and relaxed experience. Working with Michelle is like spending time with a trusted friend.
