Review content:
There have been times when I visited home that I left town with a bucket of spaghetti and garlic bread in the back seat to take with me. Yes, it's that good. I've been going to La Gondola Spaghetti House in my home town of Bartonville since childhood. We almost always went with take out. The restaurant itself for dine-in is nothing impressive. But the buckets of spaghetti and the sauce inside at the bottom are sooooo delicious. Add to that the buttery goodness of a larger than foot-long loaf of french bread with garlic and it is heaven. As to the rest of the menu, I'm not a super fan. The sandwiches are alright. And I've never tried the other dishes. So, if you're in the area and looking for something great, skip the pizza and order a bucket and bread to go and settle down with your friends for some awesome food. I think the bucket served 3-4 in my family.
