Businiess name:  The Tasting Room

Review content:
Once again found myself in the Soho area looking for a place that wasn't ridiculously crowded for Sunday brunch. My friend and I were just about to give up and shop instead (hey, when in rome) when it seemed as if people were heading into The Tasting Room...during the day. Did anyone know they're open for brunch? I didn't. I asked the happy host if this had always been the case since they moved locations, she told me that it's only been about a month. Well, at least I wasn't THAT out of the loop. We gladly sat at the bar to enjoy ordering a ""bloody c*ck and b*ll"" (citysearch edited what those words are supposed to be!) and a ""bloody jerry"" while we perused the menu. In the plethora of fun choices, I opted for soft cooked eggs with fiddlehead ferns and grits while my friend ordered duck eggs over top of kasha with a homemade english muffin. We also shared a plate of homemade scones and cornbread...yum. Everything was just lovely and perfect...except there is no espresso. That's not so perfect. But they do have french press coffee which will have to do because I am definitely going back for the pancakes with strawberries that sounded so good. Pros: Awesome brunch soundtrack...jay-z , dean martin, cheaptrick, and snow white...seriously Cons: No espresso
