Without sounding bitter, let me say that Valentine's dinner at Jer-Ne was about the worst meal I have ever had. The food combinations were thoughtless. It's as if the chef were forcing the issue. For what you had to pay for a Prix-Fixe menu, you would expect something with flavors that melded well together, but instead got a hodge podge of food groups that did not belong! If it were not for the ambiance and locale, this place would be like most restaurant's in L.A.... a thing of the past. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement.
