Review content:
We've ordered deliveries from them many times and only today discovered they are charging for items that normally are free of charge in restaurant: i.e. get this: lemon slices. Sounds ridiculous right? But, they put in a couple of slices as one would normally get for free in any restaurant and turns out they are charging an extra 1.00 per slice for that!! It's no different than a bank charging hidden fees each time you order. I never realized it til now. So, I brought it to their attention and the manager agreed they shouldnt have been doing it. But he refused to look back and see how often they had done it. So since we order weekly or 2x per week they likely had done it some dozen times. And because they knew I trusted them over time I hadn't checked the bills as carefully. He offered to reimburse 2.50 -- I asked reasonably he reimb 5.00 to take into account other orders - and given that we have charged 100's of dollars with them you wouldn't think that was too much. But he started yelling that I'm not permitted to choose how much he will reimburse and the most he would do is 2.50. Again ridiculous right? But it speaks volumes to their lack of loyalty to customers and to an underlying principal they think its okay to scam on deliveries. If they argued for that nominal amount when I've provided so much business then of course we won't deal with them again. But others should be very wary of what they charge. And I think others shouldnt eat there because the manager clearly didn't care about customers. He also said he was too busy to worry about my business which equates to 100's of dollars worth of business! Hm, scamming on deliveries is worth writing to the better business bureau about...
