Review content:
We've been to Taberna a couple of times, and the tapas are very tasty; appropriately sized without making you feel stuffed. Good sangria, too. However, the waitstaff was atrocious. We asked to sit out on the patio, and the waitress asked accusingly if we actually intended to order dinner. When we answered that we did, she threw some menus on a nearby table and stalked off. After ordering four tapas and some wine to start, our waitress (who was different from the one who seated us and actually nice) told the waitress who seated us what we ordered, and this horrible woman came out and began practically yelling at us. She LOUDLY informed us that there was a 20$ minimum per person, and that if we didn't intend to order more food or wine, then we had to move inside, because there were customers waiting to take our spots who apparently looked more willing to spend money, and therefore more worth this woman's time. We were humiliated and offended. Afterwards, we couldn't even enjoy the food, much less the atmosphere, as the rest of the patio had overheard our very public scolding and stared at us for the remainder of our meal. We will never, NEVER go to Taberna again.
