Having never used Henrie's before, I asked for a quote on my dry cleaning. The woman told me it would be roughly $36.00. I thought that was reasonable for my silk shirts and left my clothes to be dry cleaned. When I picked up my shirts, a different woman (who was present at the time of my initial quote) told me I owed $78.00 as I handed her my card. Before I could open my mouth to protest, she had already swiped my card. I politely said I had been quoted half that. She said since it was the weekend (and the book keeper wasn't there), she couldn't give me a refund. She blamed the other woman, saying that the other woman was new and didn't account for silk and the additional cost added for the shirt with beading at the neckline. I obviously would not have chosen to given them business had they quoted me correctly the first time. I called the next day to speak with the manager and was given no refund or explanation. She told me I could talk to corporate but that she couldn't help me. Henrie's is within walking distance from my home and I now choose to drive across town rather than give my business to this over-priced, dishonest, customer-unfriendly establishment.
