I, too, only gave one star because 0 wasn't an option.
I'm guessing the person who wrote ""management is amazing"" is part of the management here because I very much disagree. Management is horrible. They are extremely rude (especially Nina) and really don't give two $hits about the tenants. All they want is their money. I paid to move in two days early ($10 a day), which isn't really that much, but I had all my stuff unpacked and settled when they called me the day that everyone else was moving in. They had messed up with contracts and told me I had to move to another apartment and that all they could give me was $40 compensation for all the trouble. When I went and talked to them (Nina) and told them I didn't want to, they told me I HAD to or they would kick me out. Basically I was forced out of my apartment even though I had paid the early fee (which they wouldn't refund) and had to pack up everything and move from the first to the THIRD floor to a smaller apartment clear around the building even though IT WAS THEIR FAULT. Doesn't make much sense, does it? They had my money and I had signed a contract so they could treat me however they wanted and it didn't matter.
The apartments are nothing like what they show in the pictures on the website and in the ""show apartments."" They are TINY. They charge $50 for utilities but there is NO WAY we use that much each month because there are hardly any lights in the apartment. The front living room doesn't even have an overhead light. The only light we have in the living room is from a lamp that WE brought. Also, in the bedrooms, there is one light on the wall so at night, it's impossible to see on the other side of the room. I can't even see in my closet at night with the light in the bedroom.
Back in October when it got slightly cooler outside for one day, maintenance came and turned off everyone's AC since cooler weather was approaching. The next few weeks, it was hot as hell outside again, so our apartment was burning up and all they told us was ""open your windows."" Obviously that didn't do anything since it was also hot outside...so the point of this is, you pay the high, flat utility rate but hardly control your utilities. Not worth it.
Rape. Enough said.
The parking spots are way too small. If you park in the lines, you can't get out of your car. It's ridiculous.
The rec room they have is extremely small and half the stuff is out of order most of the time.
It's way too far from either campus.
I could go on, but I won't. Just don't live here. It's not as great as it seems.
