Unfortunately, I have to come to 5th Ave Beauty sometimes for manicures b/c it is so close to my work and can be in and out during my lunch hour. The unfortunate part is how terrible and RUDE the employees are. Manicures are supposed to be relaxing and a treat and this one Russian woman who works there is just horrible - I have no words for her! It seemed like she was just soo angry to be giving me a manicure. She basically would swat my nails with the buffer or jab the nail beds of my fingers so hard I had to pull away. I was so tense bc I though she was going to stab me with one of her nail tools, that she actually slapped my hand with force and told me to relax. She did nothing to clean my nails and then put the polish on getting my gorgeous hot pink color all over the tips of my fingers (the skin). When i asked her to please clean up the mess around my nails she grabbed my hands and rolled her eyes. As I was examining how TERRIBLE this manicure was (I could have done it better myself) I decided I would let the manager know how disappointed I was. She, however would not acknowledge me b/c she was deep into a phone conversation in russian. After five minutes when she let me speak, she told me it was my fault bc my nails were too short. I don't think I can ever come back to this place. I'll have to find a new place near work. TERRRRRIBLE!!
