Businiess name:  Two Sister's Moving Co

Review content:
I arranged for a move from a townhouse to a different apartment in the same complex for Saturday March 22nd. Mike, the man I spoke with on the phone, was friendly and gave me a reasonable quote within a few hours of my initial phone call. I called other companies but decided to give this one a try because Mike seemed the most trustworthy and helpful. Overall Two Sisters did a good job for me. The two men showed up on time Saturday morning within the 30 minute ""window"" and were as courteous as Mike. They were pulling a trailer behind a Ford pickup which I didn't really care for, I would prefer to see a moving company use a bobtail or similar utility truck but that's a minor complaint. The guys had me sign some documents after reviewing the items to be moved with me and then went about their business. They carried some extra floor lamps but mysteriously left behind the table lamps that were on the end tables in my living room. They were not on the list (forgot to tell Mike) so fair enough but why carry the floor lamps but not the table lamps? Confusing. Anyway they delivered everything ok to the new apartment, used ample padding and didn't scratch anything. The guys never complained about anything including their job which I found refreshing based on my experience with M&M back in 2006 (don't get me started on that fiasco, can't recommend them). I was so preoccupied with coordinating the move that I forgot to tip them which I regretted later. I did give them some unwanted kitchen materials but that's not quite the same thing. They did a good job and deserved a tip. My only real complaint is with this ""style"" of moving: getting a quote based on what you will have the company move from you. I don't think it works for me any longer especially considering this table lamp example. Next time I think I'll go with Two Guys Moving who charge by the hour and don't care what they move. I didn't use them this time only because they couldn't fit in my timeframe. Pros: Friendly, reliable, courteous, careful, professional Cons: Style of moving seems antiquated somehow, and expensive to boot
