I recently took my Acura RSX to Sunset Auto Imports for maintenance, and they found some things that needed to be fixed. They called and explained exactly what was wrong, and gave me detailed answers for the questions I had. I had them perform the most important repairs and I am working on the third problem myself. They weren't able to get one of the parts in town and had to order it, so it took a couple days to get my car back, but they did an excellent job and gave me a full report of the work they did and the recommended additional service.
I first heard about them a few years ago when I had some problems with a Chevy Venture minivan, and I searched and found the great reviews of Sunset Auto. I took the van there and they quickly found the cause of the problems. One of them was just a bad tire and another was caused by another shop putting on the rear brakes incorrectly (over time I found that the other shop has a pretty horrible reputation). Since the vehicle wasn't worth that much I didn't have them perform the less necessary repairs, but they fixed the rear brake problem and put on new front brakes.
I'm very happy with the service I've received at Sunset Auto and the staff members are very knowledgeable, skilled, and polite. I've recommended their services to my friends and family and will continue to do so.
