I literally just walked out of this shop - I brought in 4 pr of shoes - 3 needed to only have the little tap on the heal replaced - any other shoe store I've been to in Chicago, DC, Miami, NY, this has only been a couple of bucks. I also need new elastic for another pr of shoes in the ankle strap. Total came to $52. I was shocked this was so high. I told the woman who owns the store it was too expensive and I would take my shoes elsewhere...her response was something to me in a loud, rushed voice that wasn't in English - assume her native tongue. One can only assume what she said was not polite or proper. It's bad enough to charge insane crazy prices and another to insult customers in a different language. Guess it's why City Search didn't give this place a good rating anyway...
