Review content:
My son in law was badly cut in a boating accident. With first aid treatment, we were able to reduce the heavy bleeding enough so that he could pilot his boat back to the harbor and then drive to Urgent Care & More, the closest place that we knew of. By the time we arrived, the bleeding had increased to the point that he left a trail of blood from the car to the front desk. Despite the obvious care needed, the receptionist was extremely uncaring and unhelpful. She had him limp over take a chair in the waiting room. I pointed out that he not only had left a pool of blood in front of the counter but was still bleeding on the furniture and floor where he was told to sit. Again, she was unconcerned and said that someone would be there shortly to clean up the blood. In the meantime, new people coming in stood in the pool of blood and then tracked it all over the waiting room.
Surprising that there was not more concern about creating a slippery bloody emergency room floor. Eventually, someone showed up with a wheel chair and he was wheeled in the back where (one hopes) treatment was of better quality than the reception room.
