After having the oil changed at Meineke Car Care Center, my daughter was driving back to college when her car started smoking. She called home and my husband and I went to get the car. It was smoking so bad!!! We were not far from the dealership so we took it there. I was so scared. I was driving behind my husband and I was afraid the car was going to catch fire, it was smoking so badly. This was only a day after the oil change. The head of the service department said the oil filter was not put in correctly causing the oil to leak out onto the car causing the smoke. (At the time I did not realize that it also had leaked ALL OVER the DRIVEWAY!!!!!) He said to clean all the oil off would be $350.00. We left the car there to have it cleaned up and to get another oil change.......
