Review content:
I stopped by Sears to get an oil change because I had a gift card (which I got because I purchased $600 worth of new tires at Sears weeks earlier). A few days later I noticed an oil leak, so I went back to the shop. They took my car in right away and said - "this is the car with the stripped out oil plug from last week". I said no one told me about it! The manger showed me the comment section on their system where it said "oil drain PLUG is bad - needs replacing very soon". Then the manager said... "actually its your oil pan that needs replacing". They recommended I not drive it, so they kept my car overnight - making it hard to get to work the next day. The manger called the next day and quoted me $350 for the job, so I decided to get a second opinion at a local shop. Turns out... Sears tried to scam me. All I needed was a new oil PLUG which cost me $15. I even have the old bad oil plug as proof that it was bad and not the pan. BE CAREFUL!!!! Pros: Hours of service Cons: Selling you what you don't need
