Review content:
The Gelato has suffered the most under the new management. The flavor is diluted and the texture is no longer as good. The Pizza, my favorite, has ceased to exist as it was. It definetely looks like they're cutting corners trying to pay the bills, but it will not work, not in the long run. BUT MY BIGGEST CONCERN, is their lack of controls in the business management, like Credit Card processing. I would suggest anyone thinking of patronizing this place to pay in cash so you won't have to go thru what I went thru. I ordered (on their website) a $100 cookie tray to be delivered to a local BMW dealership. Law and behold they delivered more than the cookies, the delivery which was left at the recipient's desk also contained the full internet order form, which included my full Credi Card number, expiration date, security code, name, billing address and the order total. Needless to say, I was mortified when I received a call from the recipient teeling me what he had found on his desk, aside from the cookies. God only knows how many people came in contact with that sheet of paper, from Mona Lisa employees (all of them possibly) to the various employees of the Dealership. After I brought the matter to the owners attention, it was discounted as a simple mistake by (their admission) an inexperienced 17 year old driver. Her suggestion was for me to call Amex and close out my account and request a new card. I informed them that I have had my card, with the same account number number for 30 years and I have numerous automated transactions processed by Amex evry month and subsequently, closing my account was going to inconvenience me a great deal. Pros: Great decor Cons: Lousy Gelato, even worse customer service
