When I first enrolled at AIU Dunwoody, everything seemed as though it would work out. As soon as I began, I realized AIU wasn't the "school" it was supposed to be. In my opinion, I wasn't getting anything close to an education. I thought a "school" was supposed to care about a student's welfare, not their wallets. Not only was the school far to expensive, but the schooling that you received from them wasn't worth a penny! It doesn't make any sense that I'm having to pay over a thousand dollars for two weeks of school! It's a total scam. I don't know the facts, but I'm sure the graduation rate is much lower than the entry rate. The people working for AIU aren't stupid, they know this. So the people that decide to leave, whether they drop out or withdraw to transfer, like myself, are stuck paying ridiculous prices for their quote on quote "education"..ya right. I requested that my transcript be sent to KSU, the new 4 year university I'm attending in the fall. Their response was one of ignorance and greed. I was not allowed to have it until the measily $450 I owed them was payed off. Okay, so there's a policy, but that "policy" seems a little strange! They are withholding me from getting financial aid to go to school until they have every penny from my pocket. I have been making steady monthly payments and will continue to. They know that a lot of students that enroll in AIU wont finish there, and each naive student, like myself, gets stuck having deal with them before they can take the next step toward their future. Pros: absolutely nothing Cons: the education, the instructors, the "policies", the faculty, etc
