Review content:
Since Pets and Ponds first opened back in 1996, I was estatic about having another pet store in the bay area instead of traveling to Colliers in Salinas. Eleven years later, I can honestly say that Pets and Ponds has the most unfriendliest owners/employees on the bay. As you walk in, they don't greet you and you're stuck walking in circles looking for assistance while they entertain family and friends behind the counter. I've seen infants get priority over customers. It's an unprofessional business run by unprofessional people. Check it out yourself and you'll get no recognition as a customer at all (unless you're a friend or relative). This atmosphere has existed in 1996 and remains so as of 2007. Their store is always empty and as of this review, they are physically relocating from Seaside to Monterey. I give a "0" for a place to shop for your pet, but they probably make decent ponds as depicted on their home website. Whoever operates the show needs to take a course in customer relations....and that's the truth!
