Its a very nice salon located in the heart of Coral Gables. The stylists, with the exception of a couple, are all talented and down to earth. The owner of the salon is a complete nightmare. She takes all day to do highlights or any other service for that matter. In the end, my hair was seriously damaged. She would stop working on my hair every 10 minutes to take phone calls, get something to drink and even reprimanded her employees in front of everyone. She displayed extreme professionalism. The front desk is a disaster. They incorrectly booked my appointment and had me wait for close to an hour while i waited for the OWNER to arrive. I'm not sure what kind of example shes setting for her employees. I got the impression that structure is missing. This salon is supposedly an Aveda salon but i received no stress-relieving ritual. In fact, my stress level increased during parts of my visit. When I asked about the hair color being used it wasn't even Aveda! Overall, this place has potential but falls short as a direct result of the owner.
