Review content:
This is a public record about my dealing with Eazy Computers 6851 Marshall Rd Upper Darby, PA (215) 856-4200. Read carefully, because this is what I'm going thru with them.
On November 22, 2011 I was looking for another computer because I did not want my Imac anymore, so I decided to go to Eazy Computers looking for a trade. They had one Macbook that had the same specs as my Imac, so wanted a even trade. Charlie the owner said no, so I was ready to leave the shop when he said "Oh wait a minute, I have one other Macbook you might be interested in." He brought a Macbook 1.83 GHz and he stated "I know it looks worn, but look at all the software that's on it," so I checked it out. It had 20 different Adobe Shop programs, plus windows Office 2008, so based on the numbers of programs plus I have brought a computer from them earlier in the year I agreed to the trade. Not once did he tell me about the problems.
When I got home, I found out the computer had many problems. The eject button did not work, the function keys did not work, the enter button did not work plus it would not download Microsoft Silverlight. I took it back the next day and for five days they held on to it, I did not get it back til Monday. I took it home and found out they lost the Adobe Shop programs, all of them and what made it worse the computer shut down and I took it back. I demanded my old computer back, which they refused to do, so I decided to take them to small claims court.
I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and gave them a low grade on both Yahoo! and Google review pages. Then Charlie call me and made threats against my person. (which I have phone record showing that he called) When I got a reply from the BBB Charlie stated that he knew the computer was bad, so I got a diagnostic perform by Springbroad Media and it show the computer had a liquid spill and all in total 350 dollars worth of repairs that needed to be done. Eazy Computers never told me the real condition of this computer. Charlie also claimed to the BBB that I knew about the damage done to the computer and I never gave them a chance to fix it. I game them a chance to fix it and not only did it take five days to fix, they replace one bad hard drive with another bad drive.
Now I have went to court and the judgment went in the favor of Eazy Computers despite my testimony and evidence, but I'm not giving up. I'm going to inform the public about my dealing and remember what I post if you decided to have dealing with them....
