Review content:
Founded in 1962, DAMIEN MEMORIAL SCHOOL is a private Catholic school for young men grades 7-12. Ranked among the top educational institutions in the State of Hawaii, Damien provides excellent educational opportunities. The school is named after Father Damien de Veuster, the Apostle of Molokai and world-famous humanitarian.
For the 2005-2006 school year, over 500 students are enrolled at Damien. The members of the Damien student body come from all areas of Oahu and reflect the ethnic make-up of Hawaii. The majority reside in the Kalihi-Palama, Windward and Leeward areas of the island. More than 90 percent of Damien's graduates go on to pursue higher education at colleges and universities.
