Businiess name:  Rainproof Roofing

I had my roof replaced by Raynproof about 6 years ago. I had gotten another estimate from another company also, but they wanted more than Raynproof. They came, they did the roof, they cleaned up and I have been very happy with the roof. The other day, they scheduled a 6-year check-up. Ed came out and checked the condition of the roof, then checked the attic for any signs of moisture. He found a little moss on the roof and said I'd probably want to have it cleaned off in a few years. He said my attic insulation was in good shape, although current codes recommend a higher R value. He gave me an estimate for them to bring it up to code, but did not pressure me at all when I explained that I am not currently in a position financially to do it. He also told me about a roof vent upgrade that was invented by the owner which will both add to the life of the roof and also help the keep attic (and therefore my house) cooler in the summer. Basically, it's a solar-powered fan they insert into some of the existing vents. Since I had already been considering having an attic fan system installed, this seemed like the perfect solution for me. Ed had recommended we upgrade 4 of my 7 vents (standard is to do half the vents) but, for financial reasons, I opted to do only 3. Again, absolutely no pressure to sell me more than I wanted. I would recommend Raynproof in a heartbeat.
