Chick's has all the standards that remind me of a 50's drive-thru, as well as great fried seafood. Lobster rolls are a great classic, as are their shrimp. They have combos akin to a blue plate special, as well as chicken and burgers.
A nice spot to sit outside to eat, Chick's is always busy. Business folks gather for lunch, along with families, teens, bikers, and families.
There is a huge parking lot, and secret tip for those who want to walk on the West Haven beach walk or attend the various summer events such as the concerts or just go to the beach, is you don't have to pay $7 for parking, you can get free parking if you buy something to eat at Chick's.
