Review content:
Farrells Ice Cream Parlor is the stuff that childhood dreams are made of. I remember eating ice cream (sharing a banana split actually) with Joey Slaughter, at Farrells, when I was about 8.
Going back last year, I realized not much has changed. The decor is still the same - like a candy striper decorated the place, all red & white and very The Music Man -esque.
The ice cream selections haven't changed much either. You can still get The Trough. WOW!
If you were raised on Farrells then it's worth the trip back, if only to relive a bit of your childhood again.
