This company from far away manages the property I signed the rental lease with. A few days before signing the lease I was shown, by the on site manager, Mr. Bert Hickson , quite a nice studio in great conditions: brand new carpet, new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, new plumbing fixtures, closets, AC unit, etc. A few days later I was given a smaller dumpster in a pretty bad state of decay. The carpet is old, very dirty, has stains and hair from private human areas on it. The AC was rusty and slow. The kitchen cabinets are so old, no one cabinet in the whole apartment is made of actual wood as the ones shown on their website. There are a few cracks on the inside part of them. Two sections of the kitchen cabinets have old chewing gum stuck on them. The apartment has obviously not been cleaned. All of the bath tub plumbing was in serious state of decay. So rusty and moldy that the metal of the spout in the bathtub had holes in it due to excesive decalcification. Simply disgussting. I requested to cancel the lease. I moved out three days after. Yet, now 17 days later the property management company refuses to cancel the lease, and refuses to refund any of the money I paid. Unfortunately this company manages a few properties in the US, and most likely you will not see their logo on the property. Some of those properties are at: 10401 Wilshire Blvd , building located in CA, Madison Apartments AKA Madison Dumpsters, located in Hollywood, CA and the 2 S. Biscayne Blvd. , located in Miami, FL My advice is to simply stay away from them or you will get ripped off and simply abused. I have pictures to prove the accuracy of all I have mentioned above and much more regarding both the building and the apartment in question. I will be posting many more pictures at a webpage I am currently designing.
