Review content:
Now I am a hard person to please when it comes to good Italian food. You see, I married an Italian and when I joined with his clan I quickly learned that not only is RAGU a bad word but few can make "pasta" like Grandma used to make.
After 15 years I have learned to make sauce from scratch, a passable eggplant Parmesan and even appreciate Prosciutto, so when THE OLIVE GARDEN came into town I was a bit on the hesitant side. What if it didn't live up to hubby's expectations? What if their pasta wasn't al'dante'? I swallowed my fears and decided to try it at least once....and so began the long love affair with THE OLIVE GARDEN.
Now I am not a big eater and since my kids are pretty picky, hubby and I began to frequent this restaurant in earnest ,when our youngest began school. Taking advantage of the soup and salad specials, we both quickly found out that not only does THE OLIVE GARDEN use quality products in their menu, but they hire some of the most personable people around to work in their establishment.
The prices are reasonable both for lunch and for dinners and the array of wines available are wonderful....be sure to ask for a recommendation of wine...the waiters there really know their wine! Parking is pretty nice except on "game day" when most any restaurant worth eating at is packed full with fans.
Once again I must urge the reader to give THE OLIVE GARDEN a try........it is a restaurant, with a wonderful atmosphere and personable help as well! and until later...... arrivederci :-)
