Review content:
I hired Donald to replace my breaker box. A job for which he provided me with a written estimate. After the work was completed, the inspector from my township came out to inspect and noted that not everything that should have been done was, including pulling a permit for the job, which Donald claimed that I didn't need because it was a "service call." The inspector threatened to fine both Donald and me. When I called Donald to ask him to return and complete the job correctly, he told me he would have to charge me more money. I noted that I had an estimate in writing, and requested that he honor it. He told me that if he had to come back out he would have to charge me extra for his "time." When I again asked that he honor our original agreement, he told me that he would return in 30 days. That was 6 months ago and I'm still waiting. I will be forced to hire another electrician to complete the job to the satisfaction of the township. I obviously would not recommend that anyone hire Donald Miller Electric.
