Businiess name:  Powell's City of Books
Review by:  Alice L.
Review content:
The Hawthorne location, for all their selection is smaller (if still HUGE by anyone's standards), is friendlier, homier, and less intimidating than their large parent bookstore. The coffee shop is a good, cozy place to hunker down with a book for hours. Pick three, bring them in, read one and buy another, and you'll find an afternoon has passed and you've enjoyed yourself. It's set up to be just manageable enough for good browsing, and still large enough to get what you want.
