Review content:
I do not recommend this place. I have had 2 vets tell me completely different things about my dog and proposed treatment (never experienced this at previously place), cannot seem to leave with out a $300 plus bill (they required all of my dog's exam and check up to be repeated even though he was not due at the time just because we were new) and each time we have kenneled my dog I have to speak to the nurse....who comes out telling me how bad off my dog is (yes, he does have arthritis and is on meds but that's why I prefer to have him at a vet's boarding kennel) and then he comes out as happy as can be. I mean I want to discuss any new issues, but I really don't have time every time to re-hash for 45 minutes all the stuff I already know. The last vet clinic I used was wonderful. They were caring people who clearly put animals first. I mean they were not really inexpensive but less expensive than this place and I knew my pets were better than okay while there. Some of the issue is likely that I am comparing Stonebriar to such a high standard. I mean I might not know the difference otherwise...I might not feel like they are trying their best to maximize my costs at each visit. In fact, recently I had to pick up some meds and asked if they had these little things (I won't bother with the details but my other vet just gave me one to use they didn't really sell them) and instead they sold an expensive version - go figure! Apparently one time he was having issues and they upped his meds, but didn't call me to let me know anything....who knows what else they will do without contacting me. I wish I could shake the feeling....but I just don't trust them.
