I had a horrible result with this company. I hired Harry to do a small family-room bump out (4 x 18)...Paid him handsomely ($ 340/sq ft.) and always paid him on time. However, he did not keep his end of the bargain...did a horrible job to this day I'm still paying for it in the form of high heating bill. Anyways, I don't understand how a professional carpenter can put down a floor that's pitched down 2 inches at the far end on a 4-foot run? The bottom plate from the near side, because of the pitch, sits an inch above the sill plate, letting in cold draft in the winter and bugs in the summer. On top of that, the floor of the addition looks noticeably uneven. I had asked him to address this issue from the beginning but basically got a cold "sorry but I can't help you" respond and he's not going do anything about it. I don't believe how someone can be so irresponsible- he had created this problem but will not have the decency to address it. Learn from my mistake and think twice about hiring this guy as his work is shoddy and he's not willing to correct for his mistakes.
